The Fall Festival at Havenwoods State Forest in Milwaukee took place on Sept. 13th, 2008.
Sue Johansen, the Education Specialist, contacted FVRC to see if our club would be willing to participate in their family-oriented Fall Festival. The Festival showcases things people can do outdoors in the fall, including camping, fishing, hiking, bird-watching, etc. She requested that the club show what hunting dogs can do, how the dogs are trained, etc. The dogs were available so people could pet them and ask questions.
Even though if was a very rainy day, it was lots of fun.
