The Fox Valley Retriever Club, Inc. (FVRC) is an amateur sporting organization primarily engaged in promoting the common good and general welfare of the community by encouraging and conducting the amateur sport of retriever hunting dogs, consistent with the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club (AKC).

The Mission of FVRC is to:

• Promote and conduct the wholesome amateur sport of retriever hunting dogs.
•  
• Foster public awareness of responsible dog ownership.

• Provide educational opportunities in connection with dog obedience and field/hunting dog training.

• Conduct sanctioned and licensed events (hunt tests) under AKC rules.

• Encourage and promote the breeding of purebred retrievers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

• Protect and advance the interests of the retriever breeds, including by encouraging sportsmanlike conduct and competition at field trials and hunt tests.
