   Running your dog in Hunt Tests is both fun and rewarding.

    FVRC is licensed by the AKC, and conducts hunt tests

    under the rules and regulations of the AKC hunt test program.

    FVRC runs several tests per year:

• A training hunt test that is not a formal test. A great way to introduce
•  yourself and your dog to how hunt tests are conducted. It is also a
• good tune up in the spring.A licensed hunt test run in spring.
• A licensed hunt test run in summer.

The 2010 schedule of tests is now available.

• April 17- Training Hunt Test
  • Premium
     
• May 15-16 - Spring Hunt Test at Bong Rec. Area
  •  
• July 17-18 - Summer hunt test at Bong Rec. Area
  •  

FVRC strongly encourages everyone participating in retriever hunt

tests to obtain and read thru the latest version of the Regulations &

Guidelines for AKC Hunt Tests for Retrievers booklet. The booklet can be

found on and ordered from the AKC website.

FVRC will be using Retriever Entry www.retrieverentry.com for our May

 and July Hunt Tests.  Premiums for our April 12th Training Hunt Test will

 be available on our website or through our Hunt Test Secretary.
